Art; Prints; Lithograph; Alfred Wallis went to sea at the age of nine as a cabin boy on an Atlantic steamer. About 1880 he settled down as a fisherman in Cornwall. Late in life, about 1925, following his wife's death, he began to paint in a completely untutored style, which conveys with simple force his love of the sea and ships and the Cornish scene. 8 X 10 inches, Matted, Fine. -
