The author writes about China in the seventh year of her war. He tells about a cotton mill underground. A two thousand year old irrigation system still working. He spoke with Chinese and American troops, Japanese prisoners, school children, business men, farmers to get the material to write his story. There's a notation on the cover page stating that because of wartime there is a restriction of the amount of paper used in this book. Book in good condition, however it has brown spots because of age. The DJ has some soiling and brown spots. (262 Pgs.)
