Second forepage has the following flat handwritten note "THIS IS THE AUTHORIZED UNIFORM ED. OF MY BOOKS. MARK TWAIN". Another forepage has the following "In Two Volumes - Vol. I, Illustrated. (319 Pgs.) Green boards with gilt lettering on spine that has spine and slight edge wear. Leaves are yellowing and light soiling, however have no markings and are quite good considering its age. Book as slighter better than Good.
